Fantasy Football Advice And Tips For The Newbie

Everyone could use a little fantasy football advice from time to time, even if you know alot about football. One of my good friends has a plaque that has always amused me. It makes the statement “Those of you who think you know everything are annoying those of us who do.” That being said there are people who play and analyze this game and makes a living at it. Now most of us do not have the resources or time for that, but we can take advantage of their hard work and expertise.

If you like you can rely on your friends advice. That is if they are not playing in the same league you are in. There are however, unlimited resources out there that you could check out. There are tons of information about fantasy football in a number of magazines that you can buy. The best ones to get are the preseason issues before the draft starts. They will have every player ranked and many articles about up and coming rookies and players who may decline in rank. Fox sports, ESPN and the NFL all have really good magazines.

You can check online, and you will find that the fantasy football sites are too numerous to name. You know how it goes everyone has a favorite and they all offer the same thing. You can get draft sheets, cheat sheets, and many kinds of statistics and predictions for the upcoming season. Some of these sites are free and a few require you to subscribe for a small fee. The internet is a great resource and many people have a computer or have access to one. Most public libraries has computers you can use if needed. We visited my wifes family in Georgia, and I really wanted to check on my fantasy team and her mother did not have a computer. So we went to town and found one to use at the library, to may relief. Thank goodness I now have a lap top.

Satellite TV has many sports channels; they have fantasy football information in addition to all the other sports news. There are also lots of sports radio stations and internet radio stations that have fantasy football programming. You can also get apps for your cell phone to keep updated. Even if you are just a beginner at fantasy football, you can quickly get up to speed by taking advantage of all the available fantasy football advice.
